Durham College Advancing Learning Conference Video Work
During an internship at Durham College's Centre for teaching and learning, several projects for the 2023 Advancing Learning Conference, Paths to Reinvention were created. The two final deliverables were at the beginning and ending of the internship term, they were opening and closing credits for the conference.
While leading and working in a small team, a custom illustration, custom animations, an opening title sequence, and post-conference highlights were created. I developed storyboards and shot lists while coordinating assets with the Durham College Communications and Marketing team and the Centre for Teaching and Learning multimedia team. It was integral that all visuals matched the Durham College brand and Paths to Reinvention theme.
Other requirements and tasks consisted of capturing video and photos before and during the conference, editing required shots, creating animations, and visuals quickly, with projects consistently being completed ahead of the required deadlines. Programs/skills used consisted of sketching/drawing, storyboarding, photography, video capture, and the Adobe Suite.
