Durham College Broadcast Layout

I was tasked with designing and animating a broadcast-style screen display, similar to what you’d see on a news channel, featuring reels, slideshows, and commercial segments. The project required detailed planning and coordination due to the many moving elements. I custom-designed small interface details, such as weather icons, and used both Adobe After Effects and code-based animation to bring different screen sections to life. The design adhered strictly to Durham College’s brand colours and typography, while also incorporating researched design practices from surrounding businesses featured in the commercial segments to ensure consistency and professionalism.

Multiple elements went into the creation of this broadcast layout, bigger components were the two food commercials (Seen below). These were executed using Adobe premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
